AMA CME CREDIT FOR INITIAL CERTIFICATION
60 Category I CME Credits
The Board will apply and pay the application fees to the AMA for 60 Category I CME credits based on achieving ABPS initial certification. Diplomates do not have to be AMA members to receive this benefit. AMA CME completion certificates for 60 Category I CME credits is expected to be available by February/March.
Requests for Special Consideration must be submitted by February 1 for consideration at the spring meeting and by September 1 for the fall meeting.
Candidates must successfully complete both the Written and Oral Examinations required to achieve certification within 8 years after completion of plastic surgery residency training.
